Education Styles: Roadschooling
"Better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times."
Asian Proverb
Roadschooling is exactly what it sounds like-taking homeschool on the road. The world becomes your classroom! There's definitely a continuum of the intensity and duration of roadschooling. Some will take the RV and go on trips from months to years long and immerse their learning in the destination; others will make learning opportunities around trips and vacations to include topics pertaining to what's around them, museums, historic sites, etc. The car/RV with the family is part of the learning- think audiobooks, movies, discussions, games, etc.
This is a very engaging type of educational style and can look similar to Unschooling, Eclectic Education, and/or Unit Study Homeschooling. There is a focus on learning life experiences, and social engagement with different cultures, while nurturing a bond as a family on an amazing trip of a lifetime.

Involve your child in as many aspects of planning as possible. They can help with mapping out stops to the destination, budgeting, making reservations, research on the historical background of the area, and natural sites nearby that are worth visiting.
