Welcome to The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. (“The Hive Method,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, memberships, digital products, community platform, programs, events, donations, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Non Profit Status and Purpose
The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. is a California religious 501(c(3)nonprofit public benefit corporation.
We provide a platform for educational resources, community support, and mission-aligned programming to families and educators. We are not a school, childcare provider, licensed educational institution, or employer of pod educators. We are not involved in the operation of any pods, left up completely to the families, pod creators, and pod educators.
Participation in our Platform does not create an enrollment, employment, agency, partnership, or supervisory relationship.
The Hive Method Foundation, Inc is not a party to agreements between families, educators, or pod creators. Pods are independently organized and not managed or supervised by The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. does not control curriculum, in charge of safety, or operations of any pods.
Independent Pods and Educators
Pod Creators, educators, and families who connect through our Platform operate independently.
The Hive Method Foundation, Inc.:
Does not employ pod educators
Does not supervise pod operations
Does not manage pod finances
Does not control curriculum or daily activities
Is not responsible for agreements between families and pod leaders
Is not responsible for payment between parties
All payment arrangements, supervision, contracts, safety procedures, and operational decisions occur solely between families and pod operators, The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. ensures that all arrangements are direct between the pod creators, pod educators, and families.
We disclaim liability for any disputes, injuries, damages, or outcomes arising from pod participation.
Children Supervision
Parents/guardians retain responsibility for their children at all times. The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. is not a school, childcare provider, or supervisor of minors. Supervision is arranged solely among participating families.
Risk Disclosures
All in-person and offline activities should acknowledge risks associated. In-person risks can include personal injury, property conditions, transportation, and third-party premises; include communicable disease.
Membership Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
We reserve the right to deny, suspend, or terminate membership at our sole discretion if participation is deemed inconsistent with our mission, safety standards, or community integrity.
Community Standards
Members agree to:
Engage respectfully and constructively
Avoid harassment, bullying, gossip, or personal attacks
Refrain from romantic solicitation within the community or at events
Avoid unauthorized advertising or spam
Use their real name and accurate information
Political discussions unrelated to homeschool legislation may be removed.
We reserve the right to moderate content, remove posts, and suspend or permanently remove members without prior notice.
Donations and Scholarships
Donations to The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by law.
While donations may be designated toward specific initiatives (such as scholarships), all funds are ultimately used at the discretion of the organization in furtherance of our nonprofit mission.
Scholarship awards:
Are granted at our sole discretion
Do not create contractual entitlement
May be modified or revoked if eligibility requirements are not met
Termination and Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time through the App settings or by contacting our support team. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership if you violate these Terms or engage in illegal or unethical behavior. Upon termination, your access to the App will be revoked, and you will not be entitled to any refunds.The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate membership at its sole discretion if participation is deemed inconsistent with the mission, safety, or integrity of the community.
User Responsibility
Personal Use: You are solely responsible for how you use and apply the information and resources provided through our platform. Any actions taken based on this information are at your own risk.No Professional Relationship
Participation in our courses and community interactions does not establish a professional or advisory relationship with The Hive Method Foundation, Inc., its instructors, or its members. The platform is not a substitute for personalized advice from licensed professionals.Modifications to Content in the Community App
The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any course or community content at our discretion. We will notify you of significant changes, but we are not liable for any impact these changes may have on your experience or outcomes.Refund Policy
All purchases of memberships, courses, digital products, frameworks, and event tickets are final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.No refunds will be issued for unused membership time, partial billing periods, early cancellations, or failure to use digital materials.

Intellectual Property
All content and materials available through the Platform are the intellectual property of The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.This includes, but is not limited to:
Text, graphics, logos, and branding
Videos, trainings, and course content
Workbooks (digital and printed), frameworks, templates, and tools
Downloadable resources, guides, and materials
Platform design, layout, and overall user experience
These materials are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not, without prior written permission from The Hive Method Foundation, Inc.:
Reproduce, copy, distribute, or publicly display any content
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any materials
Share access to paid content, courses, or community areas with others
Use our content or materials to create or promote a competing offering
Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in termination of access and may lead to legal action.
No Professional Advice
The information provided through our courses, discussions, and community interactions is for educational and informational purposes only.We do not provide legal, medical, financial, psychological, or licensed educational advice. Participation does not create a professional, advisory, or supervisory relationship.
No Guarantee of Results
We make no guarantees regarding educational outcomes, pod success, enrollment numbers, financial performance, or community growth.Individual results vary based on circumstances, effort, and factors beyond our control.
Assumption of Risk
Participation in pods, community gatherings, meetups, events, or virtual programming is voluntary and involves inherent risks. Risks may arise from actions of other participants, educators, hosts, or third parties.By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with such activities and release The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. from liability related to injuries, damages, or losses incurred.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, personal injury, property damage, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, participation in pods, attendance at events, or involvement in any user-organized activities.The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. provides a platform to connect families, educators, and pod creators but does not organize, supervise, control, or assume responsibility for any pod, event, or in-person activity. Pods and related activities are independently organized and operated by users. Accordingly, The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. is not responsible for any injuries, disputes, damages, losses, or outcomes that may occur in connection with pod participation or user-organized activities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, participation in pods, or any related activities shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount paid by you, if any, to access the Platform during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Hive Method Foundation, Inc., its officers, directors, volunteers, affiliates, and representatives from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:Your use of the Platform
Your conduct or participation in any pod, event, or user-organized activity
The conduct or participation of your child(ren) or any individual under your supervision
Your interactions with other users, pod members, educators, or third parties
Any violation of these Terms or applicable laws
This includes, without limitation, any claims or damages arising from in-person activities, pod participation, or interactions that occur outside of the Platform.
Third-Party Services
Our Platform may integrate with or rely on third-party services to support functionality, communication, and overall user experience. These providers may include, but are not limited to:

These third-party providers operate independently and are responsible for their own services, performance, security, and data practices.
The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. is not responsible for any service interruptions, outages, errors, data breaches, or limitations in functionality caused by third-party providers.
Your use of any third-party services, including those integrated into or accessed through our Platform, is subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of those providers. By using our Platform, you acknowledge and agree that you may also be bound by applicable third-party terms where relevant.
Screening or Verification
The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. does not conduct background checks, screening, or verification of any users, including but not limited to pod creators, educators, hosts, families, or other participants.
We do not endorse, guarantee, or make any representations regarding the qualifications, experience, safety, or suitability of any individual or group participating in pods, events, or activities.
Participation in any pod or user-organized activity is at your own discretion. Families are solely responsible for evaluating, selecting, and determining whether an educator, host, pod, or participant is appropriate for their needs and comfort level.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. is not responsible for vetting users or for any outcomes, interactions, or incidents that may occur as a result of participation in pods or community activities.
You are encouraged to conduct your own due diligence, including interviews, reference checks, and background checks where appropriate.
Account Responsibility & Integrations
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any actions taken through linked accounts, integrations, shared access, or third-party tools connected to the Platform.
If you choose to connect third-party services, grant access to other users, or use integrations in connection with your account, you do so at your own discretion and risk. You are solely responsible for managing those connections and ensuring that any authorized users or third-party tools comply with these Terms.
The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. is not responsible for any unauthorized access, misuse, or activity that results from your failure to safeguard your account credentials, manage integrations, or monitor access to your account.
Transaction and Independent Agreements
The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. provides a platform to connect families, educators, and pod creators but is not a party to any agreements, transactions, or arrangements between users.
We do not process, manage, or facilitate payments between families, educators, or pod creators for pod-related services. Any financial arrangements are made directly between the involved parties.
Educators, pod creators, and families are solely responsible for:
Setting pricing, fees, and payment terms
Establishing refund and cancellation policies
Entering into and managing any agreements or contracts
Handling payments, disputes, or issues related to services
The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. does not control, enforce, or assume responsibility for any agreements made between users, including the quality, safety, legality, or outcomes of services provided.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that any agreements you enter into are solely between you and other users, and you agree that The Hive Method Foundation, Inc. is not liable for any disputes, losses, or claims arising from those arrangements.
Privacy-Related Disclosures
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share personal information.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that any information provided about a child or minor is submitted by a parent or legal guardian, or with their knowledge and consent. You represent that you have the authority to provide such information and to consent to its collection and use in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that any information you share—whether about yourself, your family, or others—is accurate and shared in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

Modification of Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
